Center for Wide & Ultra-Wide Bandgap Semiconductor
The center of wide-bandgap and ultra-wide-bandgap semiconductors (CWUS) primarily focuses on novel optoelectronic devices, RF devices, power devices and sensors based on semiconductors such as GaN, Ga2O3 and diamond. The scope of research encompasses fundamental semiconductor theories, epitaxial growth of materials (8-inch), advanced characterization, structural design, micro/nano-fabrication of devices, encapsulation and performance analysis.
