Prof. Jiang Wu received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville, USA, in 2011. From 2011 to 2015, he served as an Associate Professor and later as a Professor at UESTC, China. In 2012, he joined the Photonics Group at University College London (UCL), London, U.K. From 2015, he held the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor at UCL. Since 2019, he has been a Full Professor at UESTC. He is currently the Vice Dean of the Institute of Fundamental and Frontier Sciences (IFFS) at UESTC and PI at Mozi Laboratory. His research interests include compound semiconductors, nanomaterials, and optoelectronics. He has published over 200 technical papers including publications in the highest impact journals (Nature Photonics, Nature Electronics, Light: Science and Applications, etc.) and obtained a total citation over 15000. He is an IET Fellow, a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and a Director of the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering.
